Pen to Paper

Tara asked me the other night why I don’t blog anymore.

I know I don’t blog as often as I used to. There are days I guess where I feel I have nothing to say, or just start to write something and get distracted by a shiney.

So, what I think I’ll try to do is start a post every morning(they say it’s good for the brain to do something creative in the morning) and just draft it and see where it goes.

Add to it throughout the day if I don’t hammer it out right away, and if it goes nowhere, then no one will ever know. But I don’t think I’ll scrap them, just draft them. That’s why I like WordPress, I can make drafts πŸ™‚

Anyway, that’s the plan, we’ll see how long it lasts.

I do like blogging, I’m just not very interesting some days πŸ˜‰

  1. Excellent idea!

As you say, it’s the whole come up with an idea, write about the idea without getting distracted and allow your inner critic to let go that lends itself to blogging.

I’ll admit, I’m far from a shining example of consistent blogging, but since I have few other hobbies that interest me these days… I made a commitment.

(Still have no idea how long I can keep up my current pace, but that’s the fun… Pushing limits.)

Best of luck and hope to hear more soon!

    1. Thanks Matt πŸ™‚

I guess what I just don’t want to end up doing is telling everyone what I had for lunch πŸ˜‰
Mind you, some people want to know that…
