A night at Vet Emerg
Our cat Ringo has been having teeth problems for some time now, and we decided to get them worked on next Wednesday.
However, Wednesday night they decided that they weren’t playing nice anymore and really started to bug him. He was picking at them, licking, and generally making himself miserable. Tara and I looked at each other and decided to take him to the emergency vet.
And you know, it’s just like the emergency at the hospital. We had the triage pretty much right away, and then waited three hours for the vet. Apparently it was a busy night, so we understood. He looked him over and prescribed a shot of antibiotic and some pain killer. The problem with the pain killer is that it’s a pain to give(see what I did there).
Anyway, we’re headed to our normal vet today to see what they can do for him. Not much I suspect, but they might be able to give him some different pain stuff, and possibly anti-inflamitory.
His surgery is Wednesday, and they can’t push that up any, which is a shame.
