And the winner is…
Mazda 3 Sport.
Tara and I test drove one of these today and it’s hands down the best of the best.
Granted, I still haven’t tried the Subaru Impreza 2.5i, but at 5.9% vs 0% finance interest, I think I’d go for the Mazda.
It appeared to have plenty of space, and it had a nice amount of power.
That, and the guy sounded pretty optimistic about giving me a good deal for a trade.
In all honesty, I need $4000 on trade to make this work.
So far, when I’ve shopped around and told people 5, they didn’t bat an eye, so I think 4 is reasonable.
So now I just have to figure out options, and see what I can haggle on 🙂

I love the look of the Mazda 3 Sport. When I went looking for a car, the assholes at the local dealership didn’t give me the fucking time of day though. Honestly, I’m in your fucking shop looking for a fucking car and I ask the fucking receptionist to speak with a sales-weasel, would it hurt you to go find one after 10 minutes of my waiting around? Hell if they’re all busy I’ll settle for the manager, or some guy from service, whatever.
So I bought the Sube. I’m happy with the choice.
Was it the Kanata one?
My brother had the same problem a couple of years ago. It was apparent that the guy just didn’t WANT to sell the car to him.
I have to admit that we had to ask the chick at the desk to see someone. The guy we got was more than happy to show us around and the like. But yea, they need a little(lot) more organization over there.
And on the opposite end, was the Kia place….circling vultures….
It was the dealership on Carling.
