It’s Friday, and I’m so happy that I don’t work weekends.
For the last few months I’ve been getting up just a little earlier and actually exercising in the basement. It’s been going rather well and it’s one of those goal things that I was actually sticking with.
Until I became a manager.
It’s been sooooo hard to drag my sorry butt out of bed lately, and I’ve just given up the whole morning exercise thing this week. Well, I did it Monday, but the rest of the week has been a write off.
I’m glad it’s finally Friday, because that means that tomorrow and the next day I don’t have to wake up for ANY reason at all.
I can’t wait for my manager to get back. Actually, for the most part being a manager is ok. Sure the meetings are tedious and often unproductive, but I’ve really started to get the hang of it and I think in the end this will be really good for me.
It’s all the other little things that have suddenly become big things that I have a feeling I shouldn’t have been involved with anyway that’s getting to me.
One customer issue in particular has been a constant thorn in my side since I started this gig.
But, like all things, it too will finally get resolved and life moves on. Besides, I think I can easily not answer their phone calls for another six months ^_^
Next weekend I take a break. Nexxt weekend I’m heading up to BraceBridge to hang out with Rich, Sarah and little Evan. Haven’t met Evan yet, I hear he’s taller in person ^_^
Dawn of the Dead in out this weekend. I might wait till Tuesday for this one though. I’m sure it won’t stink, but I know that most of the people I hang out with won’t really want to see it.
I do, only becuase it looks zombie-ish. Well, I guess it’s full-blown zombies, but you know what I mean.
OK, that’s all I have for now.
