More Forum….actually

Less Forum.Well, less forum topics.
Darcy gave a good suggestion and it’s something that I was thinking about anyway, and now that someone else has thought of it, I’ll take all the credit for it and say that I thought of it first. And this is what I thought:
Two main forums; One where I start the topics(mainly copy/paste from here) and you can reply/ignore, and one where other people start the topics, and where I can reply/ignore.
Then a generaly misc thing where anyone that finds the page can enter in crap. How’s that?
Then I’ll worry about making my own programs and have everything tie in together automagically.There. Done. Sorta.

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, my two front teeth, my two front teeth. All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, my two front teeth, my two front teeth.

    I’m all for it!
    VoyForums appears to have disappeared.
I figured it would happen, but what’s a body to do?
(I’m gathing that they’ll be back… but they’ve been down for an hour or more now… and since they’ve never been speedy…)
Maybe when you’re done you can drop me some thoughts on how you’d go about setting up an XML based offline site generator.(Hey, I’ll even make it an open question… ideas? I’m thinking something like CityDesk, but free… and less proprietary.)

I noticed that Voy was back up.
As for XML based offline generators, all those words make sense, but not in that sentence ^_^
I don’t have the foggiest, but it would be neat to figure out.
I’ll have to try CitiDesk(or some demo of the like) to get an idea.
For this place I just use GreyMatter. It’s a decent blog maker and does a lot of stuff behind the scenes like organizing and archiving. And it’s free ^_^, but you need CGI access.I guess it’s the advantage of having your own server.
