Powerless
I woke up at 5am this morning to the sound of the UPS beeping away.
I have to admit that I like the idea of the UPS, but the beeping has to go.
Still didn’t have power when I left for work this morning, but I suspect it’ll be on soon enough.
On the upside it wasn’t just me. If it was just me then I’d be really worried. But it’s just he suckiness of Kanata power.
I drove to Tim Hortons for breakfast this morning.
I had run out of peanut butter, so I was going to have cereal. No milk, so I was going to have eggs.
No power. Tims it is.
But, I’m not as bad off as the boss. He got to work this morning to find that his HD is dead.
In other news, the dog has slept out of her cage now for the past three nights without any problems.
I think now that we have her diet sorted out, and the amount of walks and ‘out’ time is also sorted, there’s no pacing and making of messes in the house.
Also, there’s no damage going on, which is also a plus.
I’ll keep doing this until she does something strange, or the next few months.
Then I’ll start to keep her out in the afternoon. Or not, hard to say.

I had power today! it’s just Bridlewood’s (or wherever you live) crappy power!!
It’s irritatingly true.
If it rains, we loose power(happened a few times over the summer).
If I need to watch something, we loose power.
Underground lines seems like a good idea at the time, until you of course, you know, you need to USE them.
And with all the construction around here, power lines get snapped on a regular basis.
How hard is it to map these things?!?!
