Webcam Blues

Well, it seems that I have the ONLY webcam that is NOT supported by Linux!
This is after much searching around and almost getting drivers that work, but then they say my camera isn’t supported and the last time these people did anything was last year….*sigh*
This is rather irritating and I still hold hopes that someone somewhere will make a driver for it. But I won’t hold my breath.
So, in the mean time….ummm….I don’t know what I’ll do.
I want the webcam, and I want to run Linux.
But right now Linux is becoming the same thing the Windows box was, an MP3 player, so I suppose it really doesn’t make any difference.
I guess I’ll have Windows during the day and Linux at night….seems about right.

  1. aelfric the unsupported

I have the only IBM PCMCIA card not supported by Linux, a collection of ethernet cards not supported, a collection of modems not supported – if I gave a damn I’d write drivers. But I don’t. I don’t know C.
