Saw Ginger Snaps 2 last night, and I really don’t know what to think.
For the most part it was a good movie. Excellent use of sound to give that spooked out feeling, the visuals weren’t bad at all, but I’m not sure what happened to it near the end.

All seemed to be going well, progressing the way a horror movie progresses, and then TWIST; stupid happens.
Well, maybe not stupid, but kinda out of the blue ending, like it was almost rushed and the author had NO idea how to end it.
That’s the way it felt to me.
I like the first one, I like it a lot. It was a little refreshing and new, better than most Hollywood crap, and it was Canadian, which was just nice.

I can only hope the third one is a little better. I think it will be becuase it’ll be a prequel, and you don’t have to worry about continuity too much in a prequel, especially when it takes place 150 years ago.
But I have a feeling that it’s going direct to video, which is a shame.

Tonight is the night of craziness. I have to pack, clean out the rest of the car, pick up the converter from my brother(assuming I get a hold of him), maybe assemble someone elses computer, load up the laptop with fun things to do, and generally not go insane.
That last bit is going to be the hardest.

Then tomorrow night it will be a little easier. Go home, eat big meal, sleep. I think I can handle that. It’s the 12 hours of driving after that might get a little tricky.

It’s my late week, and I hate the late weeks.
It’s not that it’s slow or anything, I have plenty to keep me busy(well, not too busy I guess) but it’s just the leaving at 5:30 thing I hate.
By the time I get home and remember to make dinner and all that, it’s already 7.
4:30 is a MUCH better hour to leave work.
I never got the hang of this 9-5 thing, 5 is such a barbaric time of the day.
I’d much rather get up earlier and get home earlier, that way I have more of the evening to waste away.
Like tonight.

Becuase I don’t have enough to do I’m going to go see Ginger Snaps 2. I’ve been wanting to see this since I heard about it. I rather liked the first one and although I’m sure the general problem with sequals will be there, I’d like to see the second one.
That, and I don’t think it’s going to last in the theatre that long.

And I’m going to get my hair cut, and maybe even clean out the car, but I might leave that to tomorrow night.

And tomorrow I have to pack as well, and get the car thing from my brother. All at the last minute of course ^_^
