Bachelor Days – First Friday
It’s the end of the work week and I really don’t like living alone.
I thought this weird funk would have gone by now, but I find it hard to actually do anything outside of work. And now I have two days of non-work ahead of me. The upside is that I have at least one of those days planned out, I just have to find motivation to get started.
Yes, I know, I’m sure I sound like I’m whining, but it’s my blog 😛
Tara and I talk to each other daily, usually more than once. Liam isn’t sleeping very well, and therefore Tara isn’t as well. However, during the proper waking hours life seems to be going pretty well out there. They’re getting out and doing things, enjoying the time with family.
If we could just get the little guy to sleep at night, life would be better for her I think.
Not sure what the issue is, but she’s going to try to change a couple of things to see if it helps. We’re guessing it’s the introduction of the rice cearel, might be causing extra gas.
Or it could be that he’s a baby and just want’s to keep us on our toes. Either way, it makes for long nights.
I’ve come into possession of old school horror movies, and I think I’ll watch those this weekend. The original Dracula, Frankenstein and the Wolf Man. Haven’t seen Wolf Man or Dracula(I don’t think) so it should be a treat 🙂
And, while it took me the better part of 4 months to watch the first season of True Blood, I’m finishing the second as I type this. Still a good show, even if a little goofy at time. And I’m starting to doubt I’ll make it through all 5 seasons of Lost, not that it’s a bad thing I’m sure.
I’m also playing Crusader:No Remorse, which won Game of the Year in 1995. Still good, just really could use some autosaving.
And now to do some work on the bathroom(not that kind of work, the other kind of work).

The 2nd season of True Blood was such total WTF… I think it got better after that.
My 1st baby nearly killed me with the nighttime waking. It ends. Every irritating phase ends… wish I had realized that the first time and I would have rolled with it more. But as far as pro advice, I was also glad I read the Baby Whisperer book (Tracy Hogg). Good perspective there and some stuff I honestly didn’t know about babies.
Don’t worry Bill, you’ll blink and suddenly you’ll have an obnoxious 6 year old who makes poop jokes at restaurants.
