House
Not the TV show.
I’m buying a house. Not as we speak, at least not yet, but soonish I hope.
I found one online and decided to get the ball rolling. Otherwise, I would have sat on my butt and just looked and looked and had not done anything about it.
It seems I can get about $200,000 from the bank, which is about that I thought. Actually, I had thought I could get more, but whatever.
I don’t think I would have wanted anymore really, that would put me beyond the comfortable stage.
At this point, a $200,000 mortgage would be about $600/every other week, which is cool.
I won’t be living like a king, but I won’t be scraping by either.
I would like to avoid a townhouse as that just gives me the “really big apartment” feel. But the real estate person that I’m currently talking to thinks that town homes are good for the first time buyer because they’re easy to buy/sell.
I think the only time I can see this condo(oh yea, it was a condo that I saw online) is Thursday, which would mean I might have to cancel a date. But ya know, I can’t help but feel that looking at a house that I might want to buy is kinda more important than a date.
No offense to the person, but I kinda want to get this house thing out of the way.
That, and I’m excited about buying a house ^_^
I’m just rambling at this point.
Show tonight as usual. The details have been updated.
Including, you know, HOW you can tune in. Yea, I thought that might be useful ^_^

Take her to see the house! If you’re past the coffee interview stage, I don’t see a reason not to. It’s fun for the whole family.
Yeah, why not? It shouldn’t take hugely long and having the where-with-all to buy a house is sexy. (Yes I know I’m living with a musician….)
Yes, well, if it wasn’t for the fact that this is the second date, and I’m not really sure about this person, then I might have.
Not to mention that for her to go out to Kanata would be WAY out of her way.
We’re meeting in Ottawa South ^_^
*Look at me, I’m making excuses!*
You’re right. Don’t want to give her ideas… 9_9
Come with me my sweet, and gaze upon the house of our dreams!
Ummmm, what was your name again?
“Let us christen my new house, my dear.. umm.. whatever-your-name-was”
*snicker*
right, nix that.
