This week has been really weird, and almost exhausting.

My boss has been out ‘sick’, actually, sick isn’t the best word I suppose since he’s having some real back problems, and may not be in again for some time.
That kinda sucks.
That means I’m doing a lot of stuff in his place, which is driving my work load up.
And, the other support person that was hired around the same time I was really isn’t working support, he’s doing Dev stuff. Now, don’t get me wrong, the dude’s smart, and probably should stay in dev(he was contracting there before getting hired on full time), but it’s kinda irritating to have a team member who really isn’t a team member.

And I did two demos that really didn’t work out. One to management and one to a client. I thought the client one would be easier, but it wasn’t. And the management one really didn’t go anywhere.

Then there was the whole car thing where I payed a lot of money just to keep it on the road. The car is running fine BTW, and this kind of expense is usually few and far between, but it was a blow that I wasn’t expecting.
Or, more of a blow. Whatever.

But it’s Friday, and that means no work for a solid two days. I’ll probably go back up to Kingston this weekend for a little bit to help out AJ with her driving. Unless I have to do house stuff with the folks.

Somehow that reminded me that I have to get back to my brother about attending his birthday party. I think I’ll go, but I’m not sure if I’ll bring anyone. Maybe, maybe not. Maybe I’ll bring a lot of people, that way I have people to talk to ^_^
Not that his friends aren’t interesting, I’m just not a people person. Sorta.

What I do know is that I don’t feel like being here. I really only have one customer issue to deal with at the moment, and it’s such an old version of the product that it actually becomes painful to use. Well, back to it I guess.
