What a week it’s been.
First week as the temp manager of my team, and it’s been hectick.
Mind you, most of that was getting a demo done for a client, and other than the demo, nothing went right with it.
Now I have to set up on site installs, and that’s kinda painful.
Then I was rushing to get some performance testing done. And it got done. It all got done.

This week should be easier. I have a lot less on my plate and I can start to see if I’ve been missing anything and get cought up.
I was just thinking to myself that I might take Friday afternoon off, but I think I have a meeting then.
I think this is the one thing that I don’t like about being a manager, meetings.

Don’t get me wrong, they can be really productive things, but most of the time it’s just a bunch of bickering and running around in circles getting nothing done, or deciding to do something that’s already being done. Just call it something different.

Anyway, only three weeks to go. I think I can really prove myself with this, I think I can get the job done and done right.
It’s gonna be a big boost to the ego, assuming that it doesn’t all go to hell ^_^

It won’t, I won’t let it.
