And I couldn’t be happier ^_^

Over the past few years, I’ve noticed that the car has been getting more and more sluggish. Actually, this really only happened during really hot humid days. So, since it really only happened then, I assumed it was caused buy the humidity, and kinda left it at that.

But then I got to reading some TDI forums, and a lot of people have been having problems with the MAF(Mass Air-Flow) senser, and that VW has bene having some real problems with them. Especially during the 1999-2001 models. Well, I’m right in the middle of that one, so for the first time I decided to go the distance and pull the MAF.
Now, to prove my laziness, this process took 5 seconds, and I don’t know why I didn’t do it before.
The car came ALIVE! It was peppy, responsive, and it had power again, and even with the AC ON!

I’m so happy that this was the problem, I was just worried that I had a sluggish car.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I didn’t buy a sports car, but it was getting to the point where driving was just not a fun thing to do anymore.
Now that I know it was this simple thing, I’m so happy to have my car ^_^
