New thoughts
I’ve decided that I’m gonna keep a personal journal.
Sure, this web site has almost turned into that, but I think that there are some things that I shouldn’t share with the world. I’m sure you would agree ^_^
Not that they’re bad things, but often they’re not fully thought out things, things that can be misinterpreted, and that’s not what I want.
I think it would help me sort some stuff out (good and bad) and get other things in motion(hopefully all good).
Now, that being said, I’m also a geek!
Since I want this to be kept electronically, AND I want a physical journal, I think I’ve FINALLY found a use for my laptop ^_^
And what I need right now is a minimal, fast, not too bulky, windowed type OS that I can customize to a certain degree. Hell, it might be Windows, but it would be nice if it wasn’t. I also need it to boot rather quickly on a P120 with 64Megs of RAM. And it doesn’t have a bootable CD-ROM. I’m sure there’s something out there, it’s just a matter of looking.
If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know ^_^OK, that’s over with.
The weekend was a BLAST! Always fun to go to Toronto and hang with Aelfric and Olletho. Happy people , good times. And booze. Lots and lots of booze.
Did some shopping at the Pacific Mall (who’d a thunk it) and I didn’t get any SARS on me. Good thing to, I heard it’s bad for you. And contrary to what’s being shown on the news, not EVERYONE in Toronto is wearing a mask. Not that it does you any good. But apparently turnips help.
Got some more DVDs, not necessarily the ones that I wanted, but good ones. At least, I assume they’re good. Haven’t watched any yet, and sometimes you don’t get what you pay for, and considering how little I paid for them, it gets ugly.
But I had sushi, and that was good.
Oh, and I ordered a ring from Olletho, all custom like. It’s gonna be sweet ^_^Not much else to talk about. Think the sugar buzz is wearing off. Need to start downloading anime now.Later ^_^

Glad to hear you enjoyed yourself. Er, why not Linux (Slack 8.1, X4.2.1, XFCE or IceWM or WindowMaker, with ext3 to speed up boot time) for your laptop?Just a thought. Mine boots in a remarkably small amount of time and it’s not the fastest machine on the block.Cheers!PS once again you have left a Crown Royal sacrifice at the dark altar.
WWWWWWHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
I think sums it up nicely.
We even enjoyed the pink eye…. sort of. At least the by products.
Interesting, that wasn’t supposed to try to be a link……
It must have done something automagic like. Still don’t know the in’s and out’s of this bloggy program.I still like it, and I’m too lazy to move to other stuff anyway.
